| Now here's a novel way to deliver heavy equipment! First, the homeowner orders and pays for a rental lift that is delivered in a timely fashion by Anonymous Rental of Maryville. Then, when the company is called to retrieve their lift, they send one man to do an impossible thing; which is to get it up on the delivery vehicle all by himself.
The result? Two subcontractors from BEAM Central Vac (who are here to do another job) and two of our expert finishing carpenters are asked to maneuver the lift up on the back of the rental delivery vehicle – which, by the way, has a winch – so that the deliveryman can ready it for transport. It doesn't seem to matter that our guys have deadlines to meet. And get this! The driver just stands there and watches (our) guys do all the heavy lifting. He must belong to a union or something – he apparently only drives trucks. |
 Perhaps you've noticed, but Dr. Ellen did NOT offer to assist with this. She was busy telling the driver that they needed to have sent enough men to do the job themselves (nag nag). As you can see, all the guys chipped in to help anyway, on OUR PENNY. (Isn't there something wrong with this picture...?) |
 Anyway, the truck driver certainly didn't outdo himself. This contraption weighs several hundred pounds! |
 Anonymous Rental of Maryville really knows how to maximize their dollar. Just use the homeowner's paid subcontractors to save yourself an extra employee or two! |
