Barna Log Homes Roof System
| Barna's roofing system is multi-layered: (1) first goes the tongue-in-groove pine boards; (2) then a layer of 15-lb felt; (3) then three layers of 2-inch styrofoam panels; (4) then 1x6-inch furring strips; (5) then 1/2 inch sheating; (6) then a layer of 30-lb felt; and finally (in this case) (7) the CertainTeed Presidential Shake TL Ultimate roofing shingles. |
