Countdown: January 19th

Today (Saturday) was a busy day. The stair man put in another long day along side plumbers, electricians, and our four finishing carpenters. And two tired homeowners. But the progress is spectacular!

Travis installed fixtures in all the bathrooms today.

No, he is not taking a bath...Dr. Ellen found travis all over the place!

Here he is working on the installation of a 40 gallon backup water heater...

...that stands next to a RHEEM tankless water heater (on the wall). The 40 gallon backup tank assures [instant] hot water anywhere in the house.

It was another full day for the stair installer, as well. Two of three flights of stairs are done and he will be back tomorrow.

Lesley wears some attractive pipe insulation today. Oh, and that is NOT beer in her hand. She is bringing in 'stuff' from LOWE'S for the plumber to install. It was around 30-degrees today on the mountain today!

Carpenters worked hard, too. Closets, bay windows, support finishing for the electricians, installing door knobs and locks...you name it.

Lesley polys a bit more today. With no painters here SOMEBODY has to do it, right?!

This is a fun sequence...two electricians climb scaffolding to install the second of two ceiling fans in the livingroom. The fans were heavy AND they had to be installed on a vaulting beam.

They sure earned their keep today.

Wheh! A job well done.

An electrician installs a switch for the garbage disposal that will be put in later today by the plumber...

...MUCH LATER...The plumber finally installed the disposal at practically the bewitching hour. (Will the day ever end, Dr. Ellen asks???) Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
