Back-filling the Footer Walls with Gravel

Here the footer walls are being back-filled with gravel to bring it grade level in preparation for pouring the garage floor. The excellent crew is from Burchfield Construction, Inc. from Walland, TN. Jesse is handling the CAT who also knows everything you ever wanted to know about Tennessee trees. These mountains are FULL of surprises!

The Burchfield Construction crew (owner Perry Burchfield, left) takes a much deserved lunch break and bemoans the morning news in the local press about the latest 'BIG' developers who are coming into the region to develop huge tracts of land. Lesley and Dr. Ellen definitely prefer the likes of these guys – locals whose hearts are also here.
