Laying the Foundation for the
Garage Floor

Here they are making preparations to pour the 2,000 sq. ft garage floor. It is amazing that a floor will eventually materialize out of all of this chaos!

It is starting to look like a garage floor, um, that is if you use a bit of imagination still...

Measuring the grade is an all important task...

...with THIS...which emits audio signals when grade is reached...

Rebar is used in the floor supports...which are then filled with concrete

The plastic is put down as a vapor barrier under the concrete. On top of that goes the wire mesh and strands of rebar.
