Cedar Deck Railing, how sweet it is!

The CODE (here in Blount County, TN) requires that deck railing reach a finished height of 42-inches.

The cedar railing will be stained to match the exterior of the house. We chose cedar because it more enduring.

The railing will soon be extended across the front of the screened porch. We are leaving the porch area open while lumber, drywall, etc. still needs to be lifted up to that level for interior work.

Not a bad view, eh? And this is on a cloudy day!
